Refurbishment works are progressing at Bowral Memorial Hall. Concrete has been poured into the main auditorium hall. Lift construction works have begun, and new sewer and drainage infrastructure have been installed.

Next steps involve the installation of structural steelwork.

On completion of this $6.5 million project, the hall will feature new air conditioning, sound, lighting and acoustic equipment. We’re also paying special attention to the building’s original heritage façade to ensure this grand old dame of Bowral is returned to her former glory.

Works have continued rain, hail or shine but the discovery of adverse site conditions has caused a few delays. The expected completion date is now March 2023.
