Public Exhibition Period

Following public exhibition of the Draft Master Plan and Servicing Strategy from 29 July to 23 September 2024, we reviewed 118 written submissions and 49 survey responses received from the community.

In response to feedback from State agencies, additional technical studies are now underway to support refinement of the draft, as outlined below, prior to progressing a Planning Proposal and to strengthen the planning framework for the NLA.

Design Focus Group

Three Design Focus Group workshops were held in November 2023, December 2023 and May 2024, each building on the outcomes of the previous session through an iterative, collaborative approach.

Community Presentations & Engagement

We presented to the community at a public forum hosted by WinZero on 26 March 2024 at Moss Vale Services Club. The project team also hosted two community consultation sessions on 12 and 13 April 2024 at Loseby Park Community Centre, providing an opportunity for the community to learn more about the project, ask questions and share feedback.

Landowner Consultation

Engagement sessions were held with local residents and landowners at key project milestones.

    Student Engagement

Geography students shared their vision for the New Living Area (NLA), providing valuable insight into how younger generations want the area to look and feel.

We will continue to engage with young people as the draft Master Plan for the NLA is refined.

At Oxley College, Year 3 and Year 9 students took part in a visioning activity to share ideas for the NLA. Some of the visions received are shown below.
