Opening of Casburn Park!
The upgrade works to Casburn Park were completed in June 2024, and the official park opening event took place on Friday 28 June 2024.
The upgrades included:
- Improving accessibility and parking
- 2 new Playgrounds
- Pump track
- Toilet amenity
- Deck
- Village green and village plaza
- Shared paths
- Picnic and BBQ facilities

Background Information - Casburn Park Upgrade
After a thorough community consultation process, the design plans for Casburn Park have been finalised and we are confident that this upgrade will greatly enhance the park for everyone's enjoyment.
We are pleased to inform you that Lamond Contracting, a reputable company known for their successful delivery of recent park upgrades such as Seymour Park and Bong Bong Common, has been awarded the construction contract. With their expertise, we are confident that the Casburn Park upgrade will be completed to the highest standards.
The upgraded Casburn Park will feature a variety of exciting additions, including a Fire truck play station, Picnic areas, a brand new amenities block, a thrilling flying fox, upgraded climbing equipment, improved parking facilities, new footpaths, Timber Decking, and most notably, Wingecarribee's first Pump track. The design and installation of the Pump track will be handled by Velo Solutions, a highly respected company known for their expertise in this area.
Work on the upgrade officially commenced on 15 January 2024 and we anticipate the completion of the project by 30 June 2024.
