Vacancies in Access and Seniors Community Reference Groups

Community members with relevant knowledge and experience are sought to help guide Council and assist in ensuring a coordinated, collaborative and strategic approach to individual and broader community wellbeing in the Wingecarribee Shire.

People with an interest in access and inclusion or positive aging and issues relevant to older people are invited to nominate themselves for a position on the following Community Reference Groups:

  • Access Community Reference Group (1 position vacant). The purpose of this group is to monitor the implementation and review of Council’s Disability lnclusion Action Plan.
  • Seniors Community Reference Group (2 positions vacant). The purpose of this group is to monitor the implementation and review of the Positive Ageing Strategy and Action Plan 2016 – 2026 .

Positions are also available on both Reference Groups for service provider or organisational representatives.

Nominations must be received by 4.30pm Friday 28 June 2019.
