Have your say about the way we communicate with the local community and media outlets.

Like other local government authorities around Australia, rapidly evolving technology is transforming the way in which Council communicates with our community.

These changes bring both opportunities and risks.

Our draft Communications Strategy is currently on exhibition showing how our numerous forms of communication link together to achieve specific objectives.

It identifies actions to improve consistency and ensure we’re communicating and sharing information of priority to our Shire’s diverse audience groups.

The aim of this draft Communications Strategy is to ensure Council has proactive, deliberate and sustained communications and to ensure our messages are consistent, accurate and relevant.
