Background:

Wingecarribee Shire Council is currently seeking feedback from the community to develop a revised Concept Masterplan for Lackey Park, Moss Vale.

The revision of the Masterplan is to maintain the principles of achieving further utilisation of land area and creation of multi-use potential, through facilities that are of a more appropriate size and scale than are in the existing Masterplan.

The vision is therefore to create a quality community-level multi-sport site.

This can be done through a focus on new change rooms and amenities, provision of lighting, irrigation and drainage, and adjustment of existing sports fields (and potential additional sports fields) with the aim of the site catering for both summer and winter sports.

However, Council has also received a proposal for Lackey Park to become a premier regional cricket venue through the creation of 4 ovals with turf wickets and a pavilion/indoor cricket facility in the centre of the site.

And so, we want to hear your thoughts on how to best utilise Lackey Park!
