Council is preparing plans for the reconstruction of Merrigang Street in Bowral, from Jasmine Street to Myrtle Street.

The work will include rehabilitation of the existing road pavement, construction of new kerb and gutter, and installation of new water mains. Council is also investigating the need for additional stormwater drainage and possible removal and replacement of some street trees.

Construction will commence in the 2019/20 financial year and a start date will be advised closer to the time. Construction is expected to take five months with work halted during Tulip Time. Traffic control will be in place during construction with residential access being maintained over this time.

Council has written to all property owners in the vicinity and would like to hear about any issues that you would like us to consider as part of the project. This can be done via the ask a question tool or by contacting Councils’ Civil Design & Project Officer, Michael Rayner on 4868 0509 or michael.rayner@wsc.nsw.gov.au.
