Planning Proposal to amend secondary dwelling provisions in rural zones - FINALISED

NOTICE OF PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF A PLANNING PROPOSAL TO AMEND WINGECARRIBEE LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL PLAN 2010

TO INSERT PROVISIONS FOR SECONDARY DWELLING PROVISIONS IN THE RURAL ZONES

On 10 March 2021 Council resolved to proceed with a Planning Proposal as described above. The effect of the proposed change to WLEP 2010 would be to include provisions for the size and location of secondary dwellings in the rural zones. It is noted that these draft provisions are unchanged from those previously in force under WLEP and the DCPs. On 22 April 2021 the NSW Department of Planning, Industry & Environment issued a Gateway Determination to progress the Planning Proposal to public exhibition. The Proposal is now exhibited in accordance with the Gateway requirements and submissions sought from the community.


EXHIBITION DATES: The Planning Proposal is on public exhibition for a period of 30 days from Wednesday 9 June to Friday 9 July 2021

A hard copy of the documents is available at Council’s Customer Service Counter, Civic Centre, 68 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale NSW 2577, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday during each week of the exhibition period.
