Under Section 154 of the Roads Act 1993, Council recently gave notice of its intention to consider issuing a lease over part of the unformed road reserve adjoining 51 Beaconsfield Road, Moss Vale to the adjoining property owner, for agistment purposes. The area of land is approximately 2,700m2.

All interested persons were invited to make submissions concerning the proposal to Wingecarribee Shire Council. Please note that under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may have been referred to third parties for consideration.

The proposal and associated documentation may now be viewed in the Document Library on this page. The proposal was on public exhibition from Monday 14 April until Monday 12 May 2025. During this time feedback was invited to be received from the community via an online submission form on this page, emailed to council, posted or hand delivered.

Now the submission period is completed, Council will consider all duly made submissions before deciding whether to continue with the issue of the lease.
