Renwick Community Centre Plan of Management

17 March 2022

You are invited to make a submission on the draft Renwick Community Centre Plan of Management by Monday 9 May 2022.

On 16 March 2022, Council resolved to exhibit a draft Plan of Management for Renwick Community Centre.

A Plan of Management is a public document that sets out how community land is to be used, improved, managed, and maintained. Council develops Plans of Management under the Local Government Act 1993 and assigns one or more categories to the land which will govern how the land can be used. A Plan of Management will allow the use of the community leased space within the Renwick Community Centre.

In accordance with s38 of the Local Government Act, the draft Plan of Management is now on public exhibition, with written submissions being received until Monday 9 May 2022.

A public hearing will also be held on Wednesday 6 April 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm, to discuss the proposed categorisation of the land to General Community Use. The meeting will be held at Renwick Community Centre. Please register your spot here. Further details can be obtained by contacting Council’s Assets – Parks and Buildings Team by email mail@wsc.nsw.gov.au.
