Why are revisions being made to the Delivery Program?

Given the broader Financial Sustainability work being done by Council, a revised Draft Delivery Program 2025-2029 including addendum has been developed for public exhibition.

Through a revision and addendum, we are able to update this important document to reflect the detailed financial sustainability, asset management and organisational service planning work we've done since 2025, without completely rewriting our plan.

During public exhibition, the community has an opportunity to provide feedback on the Draft Delivery Program 2025-2029 including addendum.

What has changed in the revised Draft Delivery Program?

  • Inclusion of an addendum outlining the proposed works to be delivered under each Long Term Financial Plan scenario

  • Alignment of the Delivery Program with updated long term financial planning assumptions and financial sustainability work

  • Revisions to Council's proposed service review program to reflect current organisational priorities and available resourcing

  • Removal of the "Services at a Glance" section following development of Council's comprehensive Service Catalogue, now included as an addendum to the Operational Plan and Budget 2026/27

  • Removal of Action 1.4.1 DP3 following Council's decision to transition operation of the Wingecarribee Out of School Hours Service at Mittagong Public School to an alternative provider

  • Administrative updates including revised branch titles and alignment of service names with the Service Catalogue

Viewing the draft & providing feedback

The revised Draft Delivery Program will be on public exhibition from Monday 29 June to Friday 28 August 2026. Documentation can be viewed:

Only written submissions received by Council before 4.30pm on Friday 28 August 2026 will be considered.

Please note that any submissions received may be included in the final report to Council.

Your feedback is a way for you to share your thoughts and ideas on a particular issue or project. The goal is to make sure your voice and the community’s voices are heard and considered. It helps provide valuable insights, identify potential issues and suggest improvements. This way, decisions can be more inclusive, transparent and effective, reflecting what you and the community really needs and wants.

Responses to engagement projects are compiled and considered. When projects are reported to Council to make a decision a summary of community feedback will be included. Updates on projects will be included in these pages and elsewhere on Council's website.

Sometimes it takes some months to provide feedback to the community and to make a decision as further investigation is often needed. We are listening and we do take your suggestions on board!
