Background:

Over the past two years we have worked closely with the community and key stakeholders to develop a community-led strategic plan for the Robertson Village Centre that addresses the housing, economic, environmental, social and cultural needs of the Robertson community, both now and into the future.

The Robertson Village Place Plan was on exhibition for a total of 6 weeks from 4 September to 16 October 2023. The feedback received during this time informed the review of the Draft Place Plan, which was presented to the Wingecarribee Local Planning Panel 27 March 2024 and the Ordinary Meeting of Council 17 April 2024. Council moved that the revised Robertson Village Place Plan be adopted, and the Post Exhibition Report be endorsed.

We would like to thank you for your support and extend our appreciation for your participation in the various engagement opportunities that were available at different stages of the project. Your valuable feedback and local knowledge greatly assisted in shaping the Shire’s first Village Centre Place Plan!

Next Steps:

The Place Plan is expected to provide a long-term strategic framework for the village centre and in partnership with the community and key stakeholders, Council are looking forward to implementing the Place Interventions in the Place Plan.

    Following consultation with the community and internal staff members, Council worked to develop a draft Robertson Village Place Plan.
