Background:

We have been working with the community to develop a community-led strategic plan for Robertson which supports Council’s transition to a better place-based planning framework. The draft Robertson Village Place Plan is a holistic place-based plan that addresses the housing, economic, social and cultural needs of the Robertson community, both now and into the future.

The Robertson Village Place Plan identifies a Vision for the future of the village and five (5) key themes including:

  • Environment and Sustainability
  • Movement
  • Economy
  • Housing
  • Community and Place

The Robertson Village Place Plan is intended to reflect a shared responsibility between Council, the community and other relevant stakeholders to achieve the community vision set out in the draft Place Plan.

The Robertson Village Place Plan was on exhibition for a total of 6 weeks from Monday, 4 September to 16 October 2023.

Outcome and Next Steps:

The exhibition of the Draft Robertson Place Plan concluded in October 2023. After reviewing the feedback received, the Draft Robertson Village Place Plan and Post Exhibition Report were both adopted at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on 17 April 2024. A copy of this report will be added to the document library on this page after the May Council meeting when it has been adopted. The final Robertson Place Plan is available in the document library on this page.
