This consultation has now concluded but you can still view related information using the links below.

Council is seeking feedback from residents on draft Communication and Community Engagement strategies which are currently on exhibition. The dual strategies were designed to provide Council with clear directives on future communication and community engagement goals and are intended to provide a framework for greater and more effective communication and consultation.

They are designed to be used as the basis for developing a range of future procedures that will ultimately detail how the community will receive timely and accurate information about Council services.

The strategies will also be used as the foundation for developing greater opportunities for you to become involved in Council projects.

The Communications strategy and Community Engagement strategy and policy highlight opportunities for improved consistency and greater community involvement by detailing key objectives, messages and responsibilities.

Check out the links above to view a copy of the draft strategies and policy or visit the Moss Vale Civic Centre and Mittagong, Bowral or Moss Vale libraries.

Submissions and feedback must be received by 4.30pm on Monday 14 July 2014.

For further information contact Council’s Media and Communications Coordinator on (02) 4868 0863 or Community Engagement Coordinator on (02) 4868 0861.
