Community Engagement Sessions - Sat 24 Aug

Bowral South New Living Area (NLA) is one of the six New Living Areas (Greenfield land release areas) identified in Wingecarribee Shire Council's Local Housing Strategy, which provides the long-term planning framework to meet the housing needs of our community. The Bowral South NLA will provide a diverse mix of housing typologies for our growing and changing population, with a small village centre and an opportunity to bring the riverfront and riparian corridors into public ownership as open space and conservation areas. Council is leading this master planning process with our community to achieve best-practice outcomes for built form, amenity and infrastructure.

The Bowral South NLA Draft Master Plan, Servicing Strategy, Due Diligence and Technical Reports are all currently on public exhibition. Associated documentation can be viewed:

  1. Document Library on Participate Wingecarribee project page
  2. Council’s Customer Service Counter, Civic Centre, 68 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale NSW 2577, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday
  3. Councils Libraries

Council is holding a number of engagement sessions for the community to gain further information and provide feedback. Our community engagement sessions are limited to three people per session. This smaller group size allows for more focused conversations and personalised support in assisting participants to understand the items that are on public exhibition and provide feedback.

Details of these sessions are listed below, and you can click to register on the right side of this page.
