Background Information

The Village Place Plan Program 2024 - 2025 supports Council's transition to a better place-based planning framework and responds to key priority actions identified in the Wingecarribee Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS) and Local Housing Strategy (LHS). Our Place Plans are intended to adopt a planning approach that encourages modest and positive change while protecting and enhancing the character of our towns and villages.

The Robertson Village Place Plan was the first Place Plan to be developed using internal resourcing and was adopted at the Ordinary Meeting of Council 17 April 2024. This pilot project was developed in partnership with the Robertson community and key stakeholders, and it is intended that the framework that underpins the Robertson Village Place Plan will inform the basis of future Place Plans, including Bundanoon Village Place Plan.

Aims and Objectives

This plan is all about making Bundanoon a better place for everyone who lives and works here. We want to create a vibrant community where people feel connected and enjoy spending time. Most importantly, we want to hear YOUR ideas and get YOU involved in shaping the future of Bundanoon.

  • Community Focus

The plan will be centered around the needs and aspirations of Bundanoon's residents and businesses

  • Vibrant Village

The plan will strive to create a thriving and engaging community atmosphere within Bundanoon

  • Participation

The plan will empower residents to actively participate in shaping the future of Bundanoon

Community Engagement

The Bundanoon Place Plan will be developed in partnership with the community and key stakeholders, with community consultation occurring at various stages of the project.
