Australia Day at Berrima has been an annual event in the Highlands for over 25 years. Many residents from across the Shire look forward to coming together as one community each year on this day.

Australia Day 2024 will see the return of the market stalls, street parade and Children’s amusements. The Citizenship Ceremony will also be held at Berrima.

To add to the street activation, Council would like to encourage outdoor dining for the Berrima businesses by waiving the outdoor dining fees for Australia Day 2024.

At the Council Meeting of 15 November 2023, Council moved that this amendment be put on public exhibition. The Council would now like the community to participate in providing there feedback using the form below by 14 December 2023.
